About Us
Hello I’m David W. Mussi one of the partners of My Service Needs, LLC. I started my technical career after graduating Tri County Regional Vocational Technical High School out of Franklin, MA in 1982 as a trained machinist. From 1983 - 1990 my first job was working for Thomson National Press as a utility man. This job consisted of every aspect of the manufacturing process of a Thomson Die Cutter including machining, painting, assembly, etc. In 1990 I transferred to a full time assembly/service technician. At that time I started business college courses at North Eastern University eventually obtaining my Associates degree in business. As my skills progressed I was promoted to an assembly Foreman overseeing over 10 full time employees and manufacturing several styles of machines. I held this responsibility while also performing field service when needed. Over the years I was involved in every aspect of the Thomson.

My input helped to make changes that helped increase productivity and the quality of the Thomson press. In the early 2000’s manufacturing in the USA declined and I was faced with a tough decision. With the skills I developed over the years and believing there was a viable market for field service of all styles of die cutters, in 2007 I decided to leave Thomson and start my own business. I teamed up with Rob and Bob Weidhaas and started the service division of My Press Needs, LLC and named it My Service Needs, LLC. During this time I’ve expanded my press equipment knowledge to as many as 12 major press brands.

Our service division is located in the Thomson building allowing me to work closely with Thomson National Press performing all their service work as well as offering service and training through My Service Needs, LLC. During my work I’ve traveled to countries such as China, Canada and Peru repairing and training companies on how to use their presses more productively. By working with so many different companies I’ve learned multiple styles and techniques of die cutting.
